Joan Y. Kiang

Welcome to my portfolio. I have worked as a designer in a variety of large and small firms since graduating from the MIT School of Architecture + Planning in 1989.

I have experience working on numerous building types through all phases of design and construction, as well as extensive production expertise ranging from design visualization through construction documentation.

Much of the work represented here comes from my multi-year association with Gustave Carlson Design, a small design firm in Berkeley California. I have worked with other collaborators as well, including Rochelle Silberman Design and Alan Michael Rudy & Associates.
